Eleanor is an experienced, widely-published journalist and author. She has written for The Guardian, The Observer, The Times, The Independent, ELLE, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, GQ, i-D, VICE, The Gentlewoman, BuzzFeed, The Believer, The New York Times and more.
Eleanor's first book, Anxiety for Beginners: A Personal Investigation was published by Bluebird at Pan Macmillan in May 2016. Her second book, Hormonal: A Conversation About Women’s Bodies, Mental Health and Why We Need to Be Heard, was published by Virago in July 2019. It is also being published in the US by Seal Press (Little, Brown) as Hysterical: Why We Need to Talk About Women, Hormones and Mental Health on August 27th 2019.
After Anxiety for Beginners was published, Eleanor completed an MSc in Psychology and is now training as a psychologist with particular interests in women's health and the mind-body connection. She lives in East London with her Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Peg.
